Highland Park
This community is bound on the north by Highland Park, one of the beautiful parks of Pittsburgh, with tennis courts, swimming pools, The Pittsburgh Zoo, running trails, playgrounds, a duck pond and lots of picnic areas. It is also the site of the weekly Farmers' Market from spring through fall.
The treelined streets of Highland Park are filled with gracious family homes with an occasional apartment building on some of the main roads.
It is a quick and easy drop down the hill from here to Fox Chapel where The Waterworks, a large shopping mall, is located. Commute to Oakland or Downtown is also quick and easy, either by car or by bus.
